HSE Objectives
- To comply with HSSE and contract HSSE requirements and prevent incidents while its activities is being executed.
- To provide a framework for managing HSE in the execution of the work contracted. It describes the criteria to be used for HSE planning and implementation.
- To provide risk based safety orientation/training.

PECOM PROJECTS LIMITED is fully committed to HSE and provides resources to perform all HSE critical activities to the right quality and within agreed schedule. The management is also committed to develop, operate and adhere to Clients HSE policy and strategic objectives.
As a practical step, PECOM PROJECTS LIMITED demonstrates commitment in
- Allocation of financial and human resources for management of HSE
- Chairing monthly/weekly HSE meetings and discussions.
- Participation in HSE audits or inspections, and prompt action of all HSE action items identified during audits and inspections.
- Promoting HSE through active participation in the execution of HSE plans.
- Participation in incident investigation and review when necessary/required.
- Setting specific HSE targets and performing regular reviews.
- Communicating HSE messages and views to all staff.
- Training of employees to execute their defined HSE roles

SECURITY POLICY AND PLAN
PECOM PROJECTS LIMITED has a vision to have a proactive, efficient and motivated security arrangement to manage its operations through:

Objectives
- To develop, maintain and implement operations that will guarantee the security of all personnel
- To identify all forms of actual and potential threats and assess degree of staff exposure during work execution
- To manage any security incident that may occur and where necessary, take appropriate action in dealing with the incident.
- To provide necessary structures that will guarantee a secure environment where law and order shall prevail

WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY
Environmental aspect of all our operations shall be properly planned and established to ensure adequate control. Waste production shall be controlled to the extent that only minimal and necessary waste shall result from our operations. An effective waste management plan shall be developed for all our projects to interface adequately with client’s waste management plan. Proper monitoring of wastes from the source of production to the site of disposal will be adapted.

JOURNEY MANAGEMENT POLICY
Logistics Manager must ensure that only qualified and certified drivers are engaged in our business. Similarly, only approved vehicles /equipment should be used in our operations.
Every person that drives any PECOM PROJECTS LIMITED vehicle must collect, read, understands and acknowledges the receipt of this policy.
Ensure provision of vehicles with seatbelts, compulsory usage of seat belts by PECOM PROJECTS LIMITED personnel and regular in-house training on the use of seat belts should be done.

NIGERIA CONTENT DEVELOPMENT POLICY
It is the policy of PECOM PROJECTS LIMITED to be committed to the Nigeria Content Development Policy and by so doing will follow due diligence on
- Ensuring material procurement is duly carried out following the Content Development Policy.
- Ensuring that Nigeria made goods are procured for contracts that require purely Nigeria made goods
- Ensuring that where a particular job requires materials procurement from abroad, that the percentage required will be followed according to the Content Development Policy.
- Ensuring that the personnel for all projects will be duly engaged according to the percentage for both national and expatriate.
ANTI-BRIBERY POLICY
It is PECOM policy not to receive and give bribe to any of our Clients/Customers, this is to ensure efficiency and transparency in our operations and also in compliance with the Federal Government of Nigeria bribery and corruption policy. All staff is expected to comply with this policy and maintain its continuity, violation of this policy is highly prohibited and its consequences may lead to termination of appointment.
